Hello Dear Guests!

We're so glad you've chosen to relax with us — we hope you'll enjoy every minute at Tavelina Cottage! Our goal is to make sure nothing disturbs your peace and quiet (not your morning coffee, not your evening wine 🍾).
If anything comes up — a question, request, or even just a tiny issue — don't hesitate to reach out. Seriously, call us anytime, even in the middle of the night: +36 20 209 8855 (we mean it!).

We only ask one little thing: please treat the house and everything in it like it's your own — or maybe just a little better 😉.

By booking and checking in, you're automatically accepting these house rules — but don't worry, it's not long or strict.
Just be mindful and let us know if anything breaks or gets damaged. We're sure we can find a solution together.

🕒 Check-in / Check-out

Check-in: from 2:00 PM
Check-out: by 10:00 AM
No refund for early departures.
Only the agreed number of guests can stay at the house — this may be checked by the host without notice.
Every guest must present a photo ID at check-in for registration in the national "Vendégem" system.
You'll find the key in the key safe on arrival — please return it there when you leave.
Visitors are only allowed during the day, and only with prior permission from the host

💳 Payment

Tourist tax is payable on arrival (in cash or by bank transfer).
If you leave earlier than planned, the full booking fee still applies.
Payment options: cash or bank transfer

✅ Booking Confirmation

Your booking is only confirmed once the full amount has been transferred to the bank account we provide.
As soon as your payment arrives, I'll always confirm it right away – no worries!

🚭 Smoking

Smoking and open flames are strictly prohibited inside the house!

You may smoke only in the designated area on the terrace.
Please dispose of your cigarette butts in ashtrays or bins — not on the ground.

🚿 Bathroom

Do NOT flush any of the following down the toilet: sanitary pads, tampons, cotton swabs, makeup pads, toilet paper rolls, or wet wipes (even if "flushable").
Any blockage caused will result in a 30,000 HUF plumbing fee, payable before check-out.

🛏️ Rooms & Furniture

Please use furniture and items as intended.
Do not remove anything from the house (blankets, linens, etc.).
Rearranging furniture is only allowed with permission.
We will check the house upon departure — any damages must be paid for on-site.

Before leaving the room, please make sure:

A/C, fireplace, and lights are off
Water taps are closed

Please report any malfunction immediately. We can't accept complaints after your stay.
Lost keys must be reported immediately — the guest is responsible for costs (locksmith, replacement, etc.).

🍽️ Kitchen & Dining

The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing basic meals.

No metal or foil in the microwave, please.
Please do not eat on the sofa or the beds — only at the dining table.
The induction stove works only when a pot or pan is placed on it with something inside (water, oil, etc.).
To turn it on: plug in, press ON, then SELECT, and use the arrows to choose heat level.

🧹 Cleaning

Cleaning is provided by us before arrival and after check-out — it's included in the price.
For longer stays, we offer weekly cleaning
Extra linens or towels are available upon request.

🗑️ Waste & Recycling

Use the bins in the kitchen and bathroom for everyday waste.
When full, place the bags next to the small wooden shed outside.
Yellow bin = regular waste
Blue bin = recyclables (paper, plastic)
There's also a REpont bin near the terrace for deposit bottles (glass, plastic, metal with RE logo).
Please don't crush the bottles before placing them inside.

🔥 Fire Safety

Please use the guesthouse only as intended. No fire-hazardous activities or storage of flammable or explosive materials allowed.
Only use electrical devices that are in good working condition.
If something electrical breaks, unplug it immediately.
Outdoor fires (like grilling) are only allowed if fire safety rules are followed.
Always fully extinguish the fire – no reigniting!
Do not block escape routes – even temporarily.
If you notice a fire or serious danger, call the emergency line: 112 right away.

🐾 Pets

If you're bringing a pet, please let us know in advance.
Bring the necessary documents and equipment for your pet's safety (like leash, harness).
If your pet causes damage in the house, let us know and cover the cost.
If your pet has an accident indoors, please inform us – an extra cleaning fee will apply.
If your pet does its business in the yard, please clean it up and put it in the black (communal) bin.
Please keep pets off the beds, couches, and garden furniture. If your pet is used to lounging, bring your own covers to protect the furniture.

💦 Jacuzzi / Pool Use

No eating or smoking in the jacuzzi!
No jumping into the jacuzzi – seriously, don't.
Only plastic cups allowed in the jacuzzi (you'll find some in the kitchen).
No sharp or glass objects in or near the jacuzzi.
Shower before using the jacuzzi – and we recommend a quick rinse afterward too.
Wet towels or swimsuits on the bed or couch? Please no – chlorine can ruin the fabric.
Always cover the jacuzzi after use to keep bugs and leaves out and the heat in.

If the jacuzzi rules are broken (e.g., food, cigarette butts, oily mess), we'll need to clean it, and the cost is 50,000 HUF.
Using the jacuzzi is at your own risk – it can be slippery!
Children under 18 may only use it with a parent.
Not recommended for kids under 3 if the water is over 33°C.
People with fever, stomach or skin infections, epilepsy, or intoxicated individuals should not use the jacuzzi.
Unlimited jacuzzi use is included in your stay.

🚣 SUP / Canoe Use

SUP and canoe use is at your own risk.
Only guests who can swim well may use them.
Life jackets are strongly recommended for adults, mandatory for kids.
Always watch out for your own safety, the environment, and others on the water.
Never use water gear under the influence of alcohol.
After use, please clean and store the equipment in the designated spot.
Any damage caused is the guest's responsibility.

🛴 E-Scooter Use

E-scooters are also for use at your own risk.
Be careful, respect pedestrians, and follow traffic rules.
Not recommended under age 14. Under 18? Only with parental supervision.
Only use them in dry weather and good visibility.
Helmets are highly recommended (mandatory for kids).
No riding under the influence – this includes alcohol and any mind-altering substances.
After your ride, plug the scooter back in at the socket by the little house.
Damage from misuse is the guest's responsibility.

🎈 Bouncy Castle Rules

Bouncy castle use is also at your own risk and only with parental supervision.
Not for kids under 3.
Only a limited number of children (age-appropriate) at a time. Avoid overcrowding.
Bare feet or non-slip socks only – no shoes, jewelry, or hard objects.
No rough play or pushing. Don't jump on others.
Only use it in dry, calm weather.
If it starts raining or the wind picks up, stop using it immediately.
The host isn't responsible for injuries or accidents during use.

🧼 Other Rules

No confetti or confetti cannons allowed inside! If used, 15,000 HUF extra cleaning fee applies.
Please keep things quiet between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM – for our neighbors' peace.
No alcohol or smoking for guests under 18 anywhere on the property.
We are not responsible for damage caused by unexpected events (storms, power cuts, hail, accidents in the parking lot, etc.).
We're also not liable for lost or stolen items.
Guests who don't respect house rules or behave inappropriately may be asked to leave without refund.
If anything breaks or goes wrong during your stay – even if it's not your fault – please let us know right away.

By checking in, you accept and agree to follow these house rules.
